Figure AI Seeks $1.5B Funding at $39.5B Valuation

Silicon Valley-based robotics startup Figure AI is reportedly in discussions to raise a staggering $1.5 billion, aiming for a valuation of $39.5 billion—15 times its previous valuation of $2.6 billion following last year’s Series B round. The new funding is expected to be led by Align Ventures and Parkway Venture Capital, according to Bloomberg.

Figure specializes in humanoid robots for both commercial and residential uses, riding the wave of interest in robotics fueled by the AI boom. The company has already secured sales with BMW and is poised to ship up to 100,000 robots, having recently signed a second commercial client. While Figure declined to comment on the fundraising, the excitement in the robotics sector is palpable!
