Google Enhances Gemini with Memory Feature for Improved Conversations

Google has rolled out an exciting update for its Gemini Advanced chatbot, enabling it to recall past conversations for more personalized responses. This means users no longer have to start from scratch or dig through previous threads. Users can build on ongoing projects, making interactions smoother and more efficient.

To address privacy concerns, Google allows users to review, delete, or manage how long Gemini retains chat history. Additionally, the memory feature can be disabled entirely through the My Activity panel.

Gemini isn’t alone in this innovation; similar memory capabilities have been introduced in other chatbots, like ChatGPT. This focus on memory reflects a broader trend in AI development, aiming for more intelligent and context-aware interactions. The new feature is currently available in English for Gemini Advanced subscribers, with plans to expand to other languages soon.
