This means users no longer have to start from scratch or dig through previous threads. Users can build on ongoing projects, making interactions smoother and more efficient.
To address privacy concerns, Google allows users to review, delete, or manage how long Gemini retains chat history. Additionally, the memory feature can be disabled entirely through the My Activity panel.
Gemini isn’t alone in this innovation; similar memory capabilities have been introduced in other chatbots, like ChatGPT.
