A spokesperson for Netflix confirmed to The Verge that the integration was unintentional and has since been reversed. Reddit users who were tracking the temporary glitch reported that all traces of Netflix content have now vanished from Apple’s platform.
Previously, users could access Netflix originals like Stranger Things and The Crown, but the experience was far from seamless—only select seasons were available, and features like “Add to Watchlist” were hit or miss.
For now, fans will have to return to the Netflix app to enjoy their favorite shows, while Apple TV users can catch up on hits like The Sopranos and Silo.
