Polestar’s CEO, Michael Lohscheller, has revealed exciting plans for the brand’s future, stating that the U.S. market is a “great opportunity” thanks to the company’s innovative technology. In a strategic shift, Polestar will introduce the Polestar 7 compact SUV, skipping the Polestar 6, to capitalize on the rapidly growing SUV segment.
Lohscheller emphasized the importance of this new model, while assuring fans that the popular Polestar 2 fastback will remain in production, having already sold 170,000 units. “The compact SUV is a key point,” he explained, highlighting its potential for sales growth. This move reflects Polestar’s commitment to expanding its brand presence in a competitive market.
