Tesla is facing a significant decline in sales across Europe, with early data for January revealing troubling trends. In key markets like France, Germany, and the UK, Tesla’s electric vehicle sales have taken a serious hit.
In France, Tesla sales plummeted by a staggering 63%, while the overall car market only saw a 6% drop. Germany has also been tough for the automaker, with a 41% decline in 2024, worsening to a shocking 59% decrease in January alone. Meanwhile, in the UK, Tesla’s sales fell by 12%, but battery EV sales surged by 35%, indicating a shrinking share for Tesla in a growing market.
This decline comes on the heels of a significant financial miss for the company, adding to its challenges in maintaining its position in the competitive EV market.
